Shoals of fish are often huge, graceful and awe inspiring. Every so often, as they glide through the deep blues of the ocean, their scales give flashes of silvery light to the viewer - a limited glint of sudden movement.
Fabrics
Wood
These decorative wall panels are made from varying wood finishes, combined with leather and pewter metal. The laser cutter has been used to produce the shoaling fish design through the wood, or rastered onto the surface of the suede. One of the panels has hand painted leather with natural indigo dye.
All fabrics are organic and ethical cottons and silks, some of which are hand dyed with non-toxic pigments and all are screen printed with non-toxic textile paints.
Some consist of laser cut layers, some have wood veneer embellishments, others are a simple print, self designed and exposed onto a silk screen.
