AIR
My inspiration for this collection is taken from the delicate murmurations of starlings in the autumn/winter season. The colour palette is inspired by the seasons tones in the sky at dusk, when the birds dance in the air and finally settle to roost.
All fabrics are organic and ethical cottons and silks. I have hand dyed them with non-toxic pigments and screen printed them with non-toxic textile paints.
Some consist of laser cut layers over a fine peace silk, others are a simple print, hand drawn and exposed onto a silk screen.

Wood
These decorative wall panels are made from varying wood finishes, combined with screen printed fabrics and leather. The laser cutter has been used to produce the starlings design through the wood, or rastered onto the surface of the leather.
